Yeah short wheelbase and tiny motor made this a real head scratcher. Who knows what was actually in the trailer though. Could’ve just been something light and expensive but too oddly shaped to fit in the hatch like double bass or something. I saw a V6 mustang towing a similar trailer and thought that was odd, but at least it had more power and a longer wheelbase than the 500.

Maybe, though with 100HP it definitely wouldn’t be the wimpiest car to tow one of these (especially if we expand our reach Europe).

This was truly in the middle of nowhere. Like an hour each direction from a town of 2,000 people in the middle of the Chihuahuan Desert. So not near any apartments. But still good chance they were moving at the end of a lease. Tons of people out moving today. Saw too many U-Haul trailers to count and lots of cars completely full of possessions. My favorite was a brand new 340i with California tags headed East near Ft. Stockton, TX with so much crap in the back that you couldn’t see daylight though it that blew past us at 100 MPH.

On Friday I saw a prius hauling a normal sized fishing boat. I was amazed. He was in the slow lane, but still maintaining 60-65.
